LG has officially launched its 2025 lineup of televisions, introducing advanced models in both the OLED and QNED series. With a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence and cutting-edge display technology, the South Korean tech giant aims to offer a more immersive viewing experience across the board, whether for movie enthusiasts or gaming fans.
One of the most notable additions is the LG OLED evo AI series, which showcases millions of self-emissive pixels capable of delivering true black levels and outstanding contrast. These TVs are designed to offer enhanced image quality and smarter performance. The standout model in this range, the G5, has earned UL certification for “Perfect Black” and “Realistic Colors,” solidifying its position as a top-tier choice for picture accuracy and vibrancy.
What makes the G5 model particularly appealing is its enhanced brightness, thanks to LG’s Brightness Booster Ultimate technology. This feature ensures brighter and clearer visuals, especially in high dynamic range content. Additionally, the G5 is packed with features tailored for gamers, including support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) up to 165Hz and an ultra-fast response time of just 0.1 milliseconds. These specifications make it one of the most responsive and fluid gaming displays currently announced.
In parallel with its OLED offerings, LG has also expanded its premium QNED EVO AI series, blending advanced technologies previously exclusive to OLED into the LED/LCD category. Among these new models is the QNED85A, which utilizes MiniLED backlighting to produce incredibly detailed and precise imagery. This technology allows for more accurate color reproduction and deeper contrast, making it a solid option for both casual viewers and visual purists.
Another highlight in the QNED range is the QNED9M, which introduces LG’s innovative Zero Connect box. This system allows for wireless connectivity between the TV and its external devices, providing a clutter-free setup and greater flexibility in interior design. By removing the need for visible cables, the Zero Connect feature not only enhances convenience but also supports a more minimalist aesthetic.
In addition to the new TV models, LG revealed several smart accessories aimed at enriching the home entertainment experience. Leading the list is the new AI Magic Remote, which enhances user interaction through voice search and personalized settings via the updated webOS 25 interface. This improved interface brings smoother navigation and a more tailored experience based on user preferences and usage patterns.
LG also introduced the LG S20A soundbar, a compact yet powerful audio solution enhanced with artificial intelligence. Designed to automatically optimize audio output depending on content and environment, this soundbar delivers rich and immersive sound despite its minimal footprint. It’s an ideal companion for users seeking high-quality sound without the bulk of traditional speaker systems.
All these new products, including the latest TVs, the Magic Remote, and the S20A soundbar, are expected to become available starting in April 2025. The LG S20A soundbar will be released with a suggested retail price of €129 including tax, making it an accessible option for those looking to upgrade their home audio system.
With this comprehensive 2025 lineup, LG continues to push the boundaries of visual and audio innovation, leveraging artificial intelligence to deliver more personalized, efficient, and enjoyable entertainment experiences in the home.
